 Why yes, Lights (Valerie Poxleitner). You are a babe.

 Who is she exactly? Other than a good lookin' girl with big hair? She's a 22 year old Canadian pop star who plays a rad synth. She's known for her nerdy girl swag and sick electronica music.

Reasons to like her:

+she has gnarly tats, including wonder woman and a blade from WoW

+ she's essentially created her own musical genre called 'intergalactic electro'

+her hair's volume is almost bigger than her body

+she rocks a simple, hipster look and is rarely seen without a pair of boots (she even has a song called "my boots")

+read any interview with her, and you instantly get the vibe of what a heart felt artist she is

Tryna get her look? She's big into simple shirts (think American Apparel basics) which she cuts up herself, leather boots, aviators, and of course gigantic hair.

If you think you'd be into a lighter version of electro music, you'll like her. Her lyrics are passionate and witty, and her beats sound straight from Jupiter. Check out the video for "Second Go", it's so cute and creative.

And although her electronic stuff is sick, I personally love her acoustic album so much more. You seriously feel the emotions as she sings, it's gorgeous. I'm into the acoustic versions of "River", "Fall Back Down" (Rancid Cover), and my favorite "Savior":

"'Saviour' is a big example of taking one of those really dark emotional situations and turning it into something positive. I just happened to get hit with a really dark sad night. The melody started coming together and the words started pouring out. I was crying when I wrote the first line of the chorus and it actually sounds kind of like crying. It's a really, really powerful song for me."
